Payment Options for Disbursements

Your approach to covering disbursements will depend on the specific terms outlined in your costs agreement. We understand that those seeking out our services are often experiencing financial strain, and funding another expense just isn’t an option.

Some scenarios may require payment upfront or at various stages before the case concludes. We understand that covering these costs yourself is burdensome and it is not something that we require of our clients. Unless it is your preference to self-fund these expenses in your particular case, we will arrange for these costs to be covered completely either through the Civil Law Legal Aid Scheme or alternatively, through a litigation funder of your choice. Whatever the case, you will not be required to self-fund your disbursements unless you wish to, and the funding of your disbursements is completely subject to our no win, no fee cost agreement. Please note that Kelly Compensation Law do not receive any financial benefit from your disbursements or the funding of same whichever option you elect to utilise.

Should a funder be involved, they can offer a financing arrangement to manage disbursement costs over the duration of your case. We’ll guide you through this in detail and address any questions.
